Stuart Dunn has developed an impressive reputation covering the Shropshire sporting scene for more than 30 years.
As a writer and broadcaster, he has worked extensively for local and national media, reporting on a host of sports from grassroots level to prestigious occasions at Wembley, Lord’s and the Millennium Stadium.
Known as the voice of Shrewsbury Town for his insightful BBC Radio Shropshire commentaries, Stuart was the long-serving sports writer for the Shrewsbury Chronicle, his home town paper.
He has also regularly worked for national newspapers and the Press Association.
A frequent contributor to magazines and websites, Stuart co-produced and narrated the popular Meadow Memories DVD, detailing the history of Shrewsbury Town FC, and has also acted as compere at a number of events, including with cricketers Sir Garfield Sobers and Graham Thorpe, gymnast Beth Tweddle MBE and footballer Sue Smith.
Equally at home covering junior sport, a golfer’s first hole in one, generating publicity on your behalf, or interviewing big names like Kenny Dalglish, Graham Gooch, Didier Drogba, Judy Murray, Arsene Wenger, Marketa Vondrousova and Gianfranco Zola, versatility is key.
